Chelsea Home Physio Ltd was established to provide high quality physiotherapy treatment to patients leaving hospital post surgery or illness, so that rehabilitation could continue at home, at work and in the community, ensuring maximum recovery for all our clients.
If you have difficulty getting to a clinic, for whatever reasons, we will come to your home or work place and provide you with the same high quality of care, and help you recover to your full potential.
You will undergo a thorough assessment by our experienced team of physiotherapists, and a tailor-made programme will be devised for you, taking into account your condition, your environment and all aspects of your life. Our primary purpose is to give you the best opportunity to make a full recovery where time or location are no obstacles and you get the most from your sessions. Weekday, evening and weekend appointments are available.
Brigid Duffy BSc MCSP, Director, has been a physiotherapist for over 20 years, having gained experience in both the NHS and private healthcare in the USA and UK. Her areas of clinical expertise are rehabilitation post surgery or illness, neuro-rehabilitation (Bobath trained), and elderly rehabilitation/ falls prevention. Brigid has managed Therapy Services in the USA, and for many years in the UK, most recently at London’s prestigious King Edward VII Hospital and White Lodge Centre, Surrey. She is very aware of the needs of patients in hospital, but is also passionate about the entire patient journey including the essential recovery process at home and patients needs in getting back to work and/or activities in the community.
“Our aim is to provide top class physiotherapy to our patients at home, either preventing a hospital admission, or speeding up a hospital discharge. People are more empowered by rehabilitation in their own surroundings, and will recover better at home with the right help.”
